Found this interesting link on the origins of the sequencing of the lettering around a dressage arena. Anybody got any other theories? http://www.eurodressage.com/news/dressage/varia/2005/dressageletters.html
Interesting quick history of dressage from the Greeks onwards http://www.kestrelridgefarm.com/HistoryofDessage.htm
My pleasure. Sylvia Loch moved from Suffolk to her native Scotland and is the founder of the Classical Riding Club. She has written many books and papers on the principles of classical equitation and is heavily involved with the Lusitano breed. The club has recently gained affiliation with the BHS. I've added the website which you might find useful. I'd love to know what you think. http://www.classicalriding.co.uk
Anyone heard of these guys before? Seems to be good but wondered if anybody else any other good sources for news on dressage? http://www.dressagedaily.com/
