I really want to start jumping again and would love to be able to compete at British Novice level by the end of the year. I would also love to have the nerve to ride without a saddle and bridle!

Im going to try and get a Side-saddle as i will feel more secure in it. Once i have done this i will be doing more with polly :) just need to work out ways to get rid of the Panic Attacks before i get on (Y)

I know this is possible as I have just started riding a new horse, I have high hopes for what I can achieve and I'm very excited about the prospect. I know I have probably picked up some bad habits from all my hacking about country lanes! Also, I have not done much schooling for a few years and my muscles are not up to scratch, so by riding during the week as well I will build up my strength (luckily there is an indoor school). I would also like to do my Reiki stage II, a good reminder was getting a Xmas card from my Reiki Master! So I shall attend some group healing sessions as well to get more practice. I'm not too sure what my goals with George are as yet, I will see how he goes. Maybe he is better not being ridden, I just don't know right now. My non-horsey goals, I've not thought about yet! I do normally right them all down at the beginning of each year and tick them off! I'm sure there are a few decorating goals still left from last year! I will have a think!!!!

More generally I want to spend a lot more time with real horses, ride out a lot more and know a lot more about them!

I will keep you all posted, as I hope everyone else does, good luck everyone, and I hope you all acheive your own personal goals. Happy New(Riding)Year! !
