Hey everyone, I was just having a random thought. My current horse, and my last horse have both been called Bonnie. We have also had two Danny's on our yard as well as another two down the road. I was wondering what the most popular horse names are? I have also known a good few horses called Blue and Copper, you can all guess why. What other names keep cropping up again and again where everyone else is, and are there any more unusual names out there? xx

We've currently got 2 Savannahs and 2 CJ's on our yard! I'm quite surprised as I don't think that they are common names?

my lovely mare for some reason was named "Original Aphid" ... how could she be named her after a rather unattractive bug? I had been told it was unlucky to change a horse's name so I shortened it to Affy. I'm guessing that wouldn't be one of the most common names around :-)

my horses name is Vitticello and our other horse his name is masejeou which are Spanish names that are not popular even in Spain.I would say that that they are pretty unusual. We have a danny and a Timmy at our yard. Most people will call there horse/pony something that ends in a Y/ah/er, because it softens it when you call them as you tend to higher your voice it is easier than a name for example my thoroughbred was called :him of praise i called him H P for short or H..y,its softer this way less imtimidating. Some usless information i was given many years ago thought id share it lol
