Does she go forward happily and without tension? Have you put the saddle on and free schooled her. Watch how she moves without you on her back-does she buck in the transition then?

Or it could be if it's in the school, it is difficult for her to balance in canter. Does she buck if you canter her in a straight like on a grassy track for instance? Lunging is also difficult for a young horse with little balance, I don't like lunging for this reason I much prefer long reining. I would try just canterin gher in straight lines for a while and work on her balance in walk and trot for a while.

It could also because she's having problems balancing in the school so I would do what sophieandcallum suggests. However you just mentioned that she is a little tense when you first get on-I would read something into that. I have never used a treeless saddle and have heard arguments for and against. The only thing that does concern me is that I've heard some people say that to keep them from slipping they really have to have the girth tight. This is like giving someone some really comfy jeans to wear and then cinching the belt in really, really tight so you can hardly breath. It also can trap the horses skin and muscles so it makes it difficult to move the forelegs. This would be enough to make a horse tense when mounted and cause it to buck into canter which takes a bit of extra effort and breath.

Don't worry beauty4321, my pony used to put a buck in I then found it was because something was difficult...such as balance when i first got him. So after checking everything, having a saddle fitted I worked on balance and toning him and bending (a good 6-8months of work!) then when he put in his little bucks when cantering a 20 metre circle for instance I would ride him through it and then he'd realise he could actually do it and it wasn't so difficult anymore! No bucks next time I asked him!
