Hi all, I just wondered how everyone was getting on with their training programmes in preparation for the new eventing season? I ride an eventer who has just been registered with BE for the upcoming season and I have been helping in getting him fit. His level of fitness is good, we are about to begin interval training too.

Hi horselover, first I'd find out where your locals cross country courses are and what's on locally. In Essex we have a magazine called Essex Rider and they list all the events that are on, Ask in your local tack shop if they have a magazine like that. Some tack shops also have a board with events on. Then you can get in touch with the people running the event. Look out for cross country clinics to go on too. Being a member of the pony club is another good way of getting into it too. Is there a troton area group for Cheshire? If so, put a question in there. Good Luck :)
