I was wondering if you were all managing to get some decent hacking in now that the nights are lighter? And whereabouts are you getting to? I am stuck at the moment hacking on roads, although they are very quiet I am getting a bit fed up of walking everywhere, with the occasional trot. I don't know the last time I cantered - I may have forgotten how to! But the good news is I will be moving my 2 home when I build stables later this year. I have a peat bog just behind my house which will be great for hacking - straight flat and quiet! I can't wait.

I haven't been out on a hack - haven't got a horse... but I've been on a lovely walk with the dogs along a bridle path this morning in the sunshine. Great start to the day!!!

I was trotting (on my own two feet)along a lovely bridle way in the Cleveland hills, Yorkshire recently and look who came trotting toward me. She's part of a small herd of Exmoors turned loose to graze the moor.

I went on a hack a few days ago and it was really great fun. We even had a good little canter. We managed to hack out for two hours and not realise how long we were out for!

Good to see everyone is managing to get out (even if it's without a horse!) Weather here has been so bad, wind and rain, it just wouldn't be pleasurable. But that's Ireland for you I guess.
