The ride around is is approximatly ten miles following the cycle path, there are parts for a canter and lots of ups and downs,the scenery is very diverse and there is a pub half way round,there is a small amount of roadwork which takes you through a pretty village,there are wooden bridges to challenge your horse and a large waterford to cross.the only drawback is that you have to park the trailer or lorry on the coach park and tack up there.its not ideal but very doable.I havnt got any photos but ill get some next time im there.Carsington water is in the peak district between Ashbourne and wirksworth.If anyone is in this area i reccomend you try this ride.

Well in the woods, there just so happened to be some small logs and we decided to jump every log where the ground was good enough on either side. It was was great fun and we then went back to her house ( I was riding her lovely horse) and cantered up a grassy hill that lead to her stables (which are at her house). It was brilliant!
