Trot on TV is a great way of keeping in touch with 'horsey' friends and meeting new ones. It is easy to use and simple to exchange notes and share photos and videos with friends and family.

In order to use Trot on TV you must be a member and agree to our terms and conditions. The terms and conditions (a link to which is located on the bottom of each page) are in force to help provide you a safe environment to communicate and share with your friends.

To be a member of Trot on TV you must be 13 years of age or over and behave responsibly on our website. Please be truthful about your age. Online bullying or uploading inappropriate photos, videos or text will not be tolerated. Your online actions can have offline consequences.

Your "MySeat" profile

Sharing your profile with your real-world/offline friends is a great way of keeping in touch, but allowing online friends of friends and friends of their friends to become your friend, may lead to you allowing undesirable people to view your details. Be sure that when you invite a new member to be your friend and see your profile, that you know who they are. A real life contact is the safest way.

Please make sure that before you allow another member to be your friend that you are sure that you know who they are, and that they are who they say they are.

You should also consider not making your profile open to all of our members if you would not wish your details to be open for everyone to see. By having your profile open you are allowing everyone to see your details, which may include some members that are not trustworthy or nice. You can change your privacy settings here.

Consider carefully what information you put in your profile. Remember that even friends and family members can fall out with you or use some of your information to bully you. We advise that you regularly check your friend's list so that you are sure that you only allow the people you wish to see your profile see it.

You should be very careful if a member you don't know asks to meet you, or asks for personal information such as where you live. If you wish to meet a member you do not know, then you should tell someone where you are going and what time you will be back. You should also take a friend with you and meet in a public place.

Never reveal your real home address or phone number to someone you do not know or have not met in real life. Not every one is who they say they are.

Always protect your membership password, even to your closest friends and family. By not protecting it you will leave yourself open to others misusing your profile.

When you register you must fill in your correct age, this will help you to stay safe on our website and benefit from any applicable resources.
